Toshiba Since the late 1980's AND Technology Research (AND) has been a lead alliance design partner with Toshiba. Initially developing compilers, development tools & emulators for the semiconductor manufacturer AND was invited to become the lead designer & developer of Toshiba's 8 & 16-bit microcontroller (MCU) starter/evaluation kits. In recent years AND & Toshiba have worked together on a number of initiatives including complete system solutions for key market segments such as digital consumer & automotive. Cypress Semiconductor November 2002 saw AND Technology Research (AND) become a Certified Consultant of Cypress Semiconductor's (Cypress) CYPros program. A highly selective consortium of third-party design engineering companies, AND was chosen for the CYPros program by Cypress because of its proven ability & success in integrating Cypress products into customers' embedded designs, time & time again.
